Great concept and such, I feel like it needs a lot of improvement though.
Personal quirk of mine, I don't think the muscles look good at all. Stylistically speaking now, the torso is off, I can't put my hand on it though. The tunic isn't positioned correctly, based on the wind direction. The ruffles make it seem as if the wind is blowing the opposite direction that the sail indicates.
Regardless, it's a good pun. I may try something like this...
Yeah, the main bit I really focused on was on the King of Red Lions and the water effects. I think I did them quite well but unfortunately made me neglect Toon Link's anatomy. My main concern is the arms, they seem very disjointed. Like wise, the legs don't feel right either :/
I see, and you did particularly well in those areas, in fact, I don't even want to touch them in a critique. And I feel as though the arms wouldn't be disjointed if the wind effects on the tunic were drawn differently. Regardless, it's a good piece overall. As for the legs, They seem to be drawn stylistically in the Wind Waker fashion, whilst the torso was drawn in a different style. may be why they don't seem right
Yeah, the shoulders look very broad and box like, it doesn't seem to fit with it. And the tunic does look wrong in comparison to the wind direction. I should try one day to maybe correct that bit, it'd probably look a bit better.
Never read Kobato, I've wanted to, thoug. I've read more of the all age stuff. And, of course, Tsubasa!! I really want to read Chobits, but they don't have they first one at they library, and I'm never going to get around to buying it....
Try going to Amazon. The Chobits omnibus is on there, which is volumes 1 to 3. I've not read much of it but it's been pretty good.
Kobato is really good Definately recommend it Especially the anime XD There's actually a crossover episode between Kobato and Tsubasa XDDD It's so funny. Kurogane and Ioryogi are brilliant together, especially since they have the same voice actor XD
